III CONGRESS MEXICO 2010, CANCUN

Los objetivos de este III Congreso son definir políticas y mecanismos para garantizar que todos los habitantes del mundo tendrán alimentos suficientes, inocuos todo el tiempo. Estos objetivos se lograrán por medio de la presentación de temas sobre producción, sustentabilidad, transporte, proceso y distribución de materias primas y alimentos finales.

LA CADENA ALIMENTARIA:
DEL CAMPO A LA MESA
Hoy como nunca antes en la historia contemporánea de nuestro
planeta, el tema de la alimentación ha adquirido una importancia
crítica y prioritaria para los gobiernos de todos los países,
organismos internacionales, comunidades científicas, instituciones de
enseñanza superior, organizaciones públicas y privadas relacionadas
directa e indirectamente con la producción y distribución de materias
primas y productos manufacturados para la Cadena Alimentaria,
cuyo objetivo final es el ser humano.
Todos ellos, desde sus respectivos foros y ámbitos de acción
e interacción, se enfrentan día con día al formidable reto
de producir más y mejores alimentos, de mayor calidad
e inocuos; localizar y desarrollar nuevas fuentes de materiales
y sustancias nutritivas para la generación de alimentos; diseñar
y optimizar sistemas de distribución de los mismos para
hacerlos llegar a todos los grupos humanos que habitan nuestro
planeta, aun en los lugares más apartados de la Tierra.
El Consejo Nacional de Fabricantes de Alimentos Balanceados y de la Nutrición Animal
CONAFAB organiza conjuntamente con la Internacional Feed Industry Federation IFIF
y la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Agricultura y la Alimentación FAO ,
el III Congreso Global de Alimentación Animal y Humana, que reunirá representantes
de agencias gubernamentales de diferentes países, científicos, investigadores, productores,
empresarios y muchos otros profesionales interesados en temas de la nutrición animal y humana.
El evento se realizará en Cancún, México, del 20 al 23 de abril de 2010.
Los tiempos actuales de presiones económicas y crisis financieras en todo el orbe, nos obliga
a todos los involucrados en este inaplazable reto a buscar oportunidades que den la pauta para
el desarrollo sustentable de programas de alimentación continua para la humanidad, hoy
y en los años venideros.
Lo esperamos en este III Congreso Global de Alimentación Animal y Humana.

The objectives of this III Congress are to define policies and mechanisms to assure that people of the world will have safe and sufficient food at all times. These objectives will be achieved through the presentation and discussion of subjects on production, sustainability, transport, process and distribution of raw materials and final products.

THE FOOD CHAIN:
FROM THE FIELD TO THE TABLE
Now as never before in the contemporary history of the planet, the
issue of food has taken on critical and priority importance for
national governments, international organizations, scientific
communities, higher teaching institutions and universities, public
and private organizations that are directly and indirectly connected
with the production and distribution of raw materials and products
manufactured for the Food Chain, whose end goal is the human
being.
All of them, from their respective forums and fields of action and
integration face the formidable daily challenge of producing
more and better, higher quality and innocuous food products
and locating and developing new sources of nutritious materials
and substances in order to generate foods, design and optimize
food distribution systems to make them reach all human
settlements throughout the planet, even in the most remote
corners of the Earth.
The National Balanced Food and Animal Nutrition Manufacturers Council CONAFAB is
jointly organizing the III Global Congress on Animal and Human Food, together with the
International Feed Industry Federation IFIF , The United Nations and the Food and
Agriculture Organization that will bring together representatives of governmental agencies
from various countries, scientists, researchers, producers, the business community, and many
other qualified people who are interested in animal and human nutrition issues. The event is to
be held in Cancún, Mexico, from April 20 to 23, 2010.
The current global environment of economic pressure and financial crises has forced all of the
players involved in this inescapable challenge to seek opportunities that give rise to the
sustainable development of continuous food programs for humanity now, and in the years
to come.
